Hallux rigidus or Hallux Valgus (often referred to as a bunion) is a disorder of the joint located at the base of the big toe. It causes pain and stiffness in the joint, and with time, it gets increasingly harder to bend the toe. Hallux refers to the big toe, while rigidus indicates that the toe is rigid and cannot move.
Our Hallux Valgus Night Time Corrector has been designed to be worn during sleeping to help align the hallux, ensure the toe is always in the right position, relieving pain and avoiding torsion at night time. It provides perfect adjustment using tension to pull the toe into alignment. After 7-10 days of using and increasing the tension you will start to see the big toe align. Made using high quality, comfortable black neoprene with a built in metal stay positioned on the outside of the big toe / foot and internal pad for the base of the big toe for additional comfort. Easy to put on, adjust and remove. Features 3 velcro fastening straps, 2 around the foot and one at the top of the big toe. Hand wash and air dry naturally to prolong the life of the support. Universal size and is available in left and right models.
